What you need to know!
2024 Crop Share Info
What you’ll get and what you need to know:
Share rates will start to decrease at increments of $10-$25 a week at the start of the 16 week season.
Shares will expire on december 31st of the year at 11:59 of the purchase, and the next year's shares will be available to purchase on January first of the year.
One full share is projected to supply the following. Note that amounts are not guaranteed. For partial shares, numbers are divided by 2 for half shares or 4 for quarter shares
60-80 lbs of various varieties of produce including but not limited to, Garlic, Onions, Leeks, Carrots, Beets, Radishes, Parsnip, Cucumbers, Zucchini, Yellow squash, pumpkins, gords, melons, other various squashes, peas, beans, tomatoes, berries, etc.
50-60 lbs of various poultry including but not limited to, Chicken (hens and roosters), quail, turkeys, ducks, etc. may come in whole or partial birds.
The above are totals spaced throughout the 16 week season
The below are totals allotted each week for the 16 week season
Anywhere from 6 to 12 eggs, including but not limited to, quail, duck, and chicken
Anywhere from 1-3 jars of pickles each week, including but not limited to, dill, spicy dill, extra spicy dill, and bread and butter.
Access to events, classes are included into the crop shares, but all items at said events and classes will be sold at 10% discount to shareholders
Throughout the season boxes may and will vary in quantities and varieties. Any additional products or produce produced will be allotted to each shareholder according to the amount of shares they hold. ie, 1% of total products and produce produced for each full share.
All products and produce are grown in the most sustainable way using organic practices. It is our goal to produce and provide the highest quality possible and produce the most value for the least amount of monetary value to produce them.
The goal of our CSA is to separate ourselves from banks so that we can have better relationships with our customers and clients. Our prices are directly related to the value that we strive to provide while growing our business so that we can provide more value in future years, working towards separation and independence from the food system at large.
